This may seem petty but it is so ridiculous I have to almost laugh.
FaithWear is an merchant on Shareasale. I am pretty sure they are a Kerusso drop shipper.
Anyway, they have a $5 activation bonus. What’s $5 right? Right. I signed up a few months ago and sent an email to one of the contact addresses for the bonus. I never heard back from them and never got the bonus. I sent an email to Andy, the affiliate manager for the program, and still never got a reply nor a payment.
I forgot all about it till yesterday. I checked my stats for the program and I noticed I never got my measley $5 bonus!
What’s the deal? Has anyone gotten this or is it a really bad scam?
update: I got the commission since I posted this. I will guess that it was just a lack of communication. Maybe they can’t get email from GMail users. I joked that this might be a really bad scam. I used the term really bad because it would be one of the dumbest scams for a person to run and assumed that people would understand that I did not think this was the case. Surely no legitimate merchant would scam affiliates out of $5. I don’t know Andy Rodriguez but I know Wade and he says Andy is a good guy and I have no reason to doubt that.

I am one of the affiliate managers on the Faith Wear program. I am glad you brought up this concern on your Blog, but as it stands I havent recieved any email on your behalf and wasnt aware of the issue. We get many emails and from time to time, the spam filter picks them up.
I would really like to help you and speak with you so we can honor our CAB. My number is 305 412 3512. This is prinited on my ABW signature for future reference. In addition, keep in mind all CAB are processed at the end of the month.
Again, my aplogies, had you’d called me, I would have probably resolved this oversight much more quickly.
Regarding your last comment, let me answer by saying this; No, the CAB isnt a scam, its a legitmate bonus offered in the spirit of rewarding affiliates who join our program and put up links on their site.

I never thought it was a scam. Just not managed all that well. I have been running the offer for a couple months.

Not much of a comment, but I wanted to say I love the name Faith Wear. Thats very cool.
BTW Carl, FaithWear is a Kerusso powered ecommerce site - lots of stuff, tends to be the stuff you can see at every Bible Book Store as Kerusso is strong there as well.
